Why are genitals offensive?
This was a micro-project where the mission was to explore nudity and its status in the West. I created this face-underwear as a commentary on the arbitrariness of social norms regarding the naked body.
As a provocation, this project posits the face as offensive. Our faces can project thousands of expressions onto others, whereas our genitals at most can communicate arousal. How would a world look where we can be naked except for our face?
